Following the success enjoyed by the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair team in 2015, CIAF is once again opening its doors to the general public from 14th to 17 of July 2016.

This art fair is a quintessential celebration of the vibrant art and cultural landscape of Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. For four days, Tropical Cairns will be home to a broad and diverse display of visual art, music, performance, and cultural information, in an exciting mix of free and ticketed events.

Round up your friends and catch the Opening Night on the 14th of July. Meanwhile, you can divide your time for the Art Fair and Curated exhibitions, Indigenous Fashion performances, Art Market, Premier Film screenings, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance numbers, music concerts, and so much more.
Throughout the years, CIAF has gone beyond being an art fair; it has also become a place for the finest cultural exchange and helped launch indigenous artists of Queensland. Each year, local schools are invited to participate in CIAF through the Education Queensland R.E.A.C.H (Regional Excellence in Arts and Culture Hubs) program.
